Landlord Boot Camp 2020 — The Virtual Edition

Updated to include the latest on the CARES Act and the CDC Moratorium and how the courts are interpreting these Covid-related changes.  Seminar for the Apartment Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. (AASEW) on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (with Q+A from 5pm - 6pm) via Zoom Meeting. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to: screening potential tenants, drafting legal screening criteria, Fair Housing (discrimination) issues, rental documents, causes for eviction, notices terminating tenancy, the judicial eviction process, ATCP 134 (The Wisconsin Administrative Code's Residential Rental Practices), security deposit deductions, collection of judgments including garnishments, late fees and more.

CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 — Wisconsin Housing Alliance's Community Management Seminar — Abandonment of Manufactured Homes, Death of A Tenant, and Fair Housing Claims

My colleague Atty. Jennifer Hayden and I will be presenting a seminar for the Wisconsin Housing Alliance's Community Management Seminar at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center (632 W. Rolling Meadows Drive Fond du Lac, WI 54937).  Atty. Hayden will be speaking on issues related to the abandonment of manufactured homes and I will be speaking on the topic of Fair Housing Claims and the ensuing process.  Atty.
