Landlord Boot Camp: The ABC’s of Landlord-Tenant Law in Wisconsin

Seminar for the Apartment Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. (AASEW) on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (with Q+A from 5pm - 6pm) at the Clarion Hotel located at 5311 S. Howell Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to: screening potential tenants, drafting legal screening criteria, Fair Housing (discrimination) issues, rental documents, causes for eviction, notices terminating tenancy, the judicial eviction process, ATCP 134 (The Wisconsin Administrative Code's Residential Rental Practices), security deposit deductions, collection of judgments including garnishments, late fees and more. Cost to attend is $179 for AASEW members and $297 for non-members. Registration deadline will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
