Jennifer M. Hayden is an attorney with Pettit Law Group S.C. and has been practicing law for 19 years.  She concentrates her practice on Landlord-Tenant law and focuses on finding practical solutions for landlords and property management companies throughout the state of Wisconsin regarding both residential and commercial properties. 

Jennifer has handled numerous contested eviction cases as well as litigation related to Fair Housing, building code orders, and the defense of alleged Wisconsin Administrative Code – ATCP 134 violations.  She regularly consults with landlords and property management companies to respond to current issues as well as to develop “best practices.”

Jennifer edited Tristan Pettit’s The Landlord’s Companion: A Comprehensive Handbook of Residential Landlord-Tenant Law in Wisconsin, which was published in 2024, she guest blogs on Tristan’s Landlord-Tenant Law Blog (www.LandlordTenantLawBlog.com), she contributed to the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Pinnacle publication entitled Wisconsin Landlord & Tenant Manual (2nd ed.), and she has co-authored an article for the Wisconsin Lawyer on Act 317.  She is a member of the Waukesha Area Apartment Association and obtained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2013.

Jennifer is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin, the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin Federal Courts, as well as the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
